Christian, why haven’t you already written the book? It’s past time get it out there now you’ve got some great stories to tell from an amazing perspective.
One cannot help but wonder whether Christian would have felt compelled to write this had his employment not come to an end. While he was with Kalder, he introduced numerous people and companies to Gokce and encouraged them to work with the business—so it is fair to ask what he knew at the time, and why he chose to remain involved if he had concerns about the claims being made.
Given the breadth of his life experience, it is also curious that he continues to return to Gokceso often in his writing.
I think “we” the employees did an admirable job under the circumstances. There was a time when there was hope that we would build the product and harness the publicity and there was certainly customer interest. Many months later it was clear that the behavior persisted and product progress failed, so we mounted a collective intervention demanding she button it up. Then she fired us all.
That said, agree it’s sad. Now it’s just another wild part of the ride to write about. This one was triggered by the Forbes thing.
Or put it this way, working there was morally tricky, and I think we navigated that as best as possible and I think people generally feel sad because despite her ethics, she is talented, and the icing on the cake was, if she could have just cut it out, got serious and built a product, there was enough demand that all this would have been behind everyone. Instead we all got fired for insisting she do that.
Anyway - last chapter on this episode. you’re right, there’s plenty of other things to talk about. Be well my friend.
Write the book , it will sell. Be well
Fake it til you make it.
And then...
Keep faking it.
Haha.
