All I knew was her name. Well, that, and I also knew she was a Saudi doctor. I came to know about her because Trent strangled her. And - that - that was the elephant in the room, or at the gym, which is where I bumped into him again separated by more than 30 years apart. It made sense I would see him there: it was where we spent all our time together in high school. I knew it was him at first glance and he knew it was me, and we both knew that the other one knew it too, yet we both nervously danced around, consciously averting eye contact. I go every day, and I know so does he, so, then, I knew this avoidance charade wouldn’t last for long.
